Indications: Ovulation induction, Female infertility, Polycystic ovary syndrome, Amenorrhea-galactorrhea syndrome, Psychogenic amenorrhea

Pharmacology: Clomifene inhibits the negative feedback mechanisms of oestrogens in the hypothalamus and pituitary which stimulates the secretion of pituitary gonadotrophic hormones resulting in stimulation of ovulation.
